We are a team of students competing in the national finals of STEM Racing - an international engineering competition.
Who are we?
We are Nexus. A STEM Racing team comprised of five students from Trinity Grammar School, Kew. We have a passion for innovation, engineering, and teamwork.
- United by our shared love for STEM, we aim to push the bounds of innovation, creating designs that excel on the track.
- With 3 podium finishes under our belt, we are back once again, ready to showcase our skills and dedication, as we reach for new heights.
- We are competing in the Australian National Finals, in late March. We're ready to race, ready to perform, and ready to prove ourselves once more.

What is STEM Racing?
Proudly supported by Formula 1, STEM Racing is an exciting competition, engaging students in the design, construction and racing of miniature F1 Cars.
- STEM Racing acquaints students with many real-life skills, from engineering to project management, and marketing.
- It gives students hands-on experience with design software, manufacturing tools, and presentation skills, all in a team-based environment.
- Participants work to strict industry standards, creating professional portfolios, marketing strategies, and engineering innovations to compete at the highest level, striving to be crowned World Champions.

State Finals '24
Team Aerosonic, a Y7 Cadet Class team that would later become part of Nexus, achieved ultimate glory as State Champions.
State Finals '24
At the same State Finals, Nexus was launched with the goal of unity through collaboration and shared success.
National Finals '25
After success at States, Nexus, (now unified with Aerosonic), achieved 2nd place in racing and 3rd place overall.
State Finals '25
Here, the Nexus Rebirth began, with a new generation taking the helm, proving themselves with a 2nd place finish.
